Children's art workshops and an exhibition were held as part of the Lough Ree Environmental Summer School & Arts Festival in July 2003.

Children aged from 6 - 12 years were invited through their local schools to take part in 2-day workshops. They came from Lanesborough, County Longford and Ballyleague, County Roscommon and surrounding villages.
