The first artzero children’s art workshop in Greece was held in 2000 on Sifnos, a small island in the Cyclades with a resident population of approximately 2500 people. The original project was organised with the help of local teachers and the primary school. Projects have continued every year from 2003 until the present with the support of a philanthropic team of locals. Approximately 100- 120 children from the Primary School have been able to participate each year.

artzero children’s art is discussing the possibility of developing the programme with ‘The Friends of the Greek Islands and the Sea’ – an organisation promoting the development of folk culture on the Greek islands.
